Got Produce? Part 2 *SGCU Collection Locations*

Starting Monday August 3, 2020!

 

Solidarity Gardens C-U is offering its own produce collection locations for your fresh garden surplus-

TO FEED THOSE IN NEED! 

 

East Urbana Location: Sola Gratia Farm 2200 S Philo Rd 

West Urbana Location: Channing-Murray Foundation 1209 W Oregon St. 

 

Harvest season is here! Solidarity Gardens- CU is excited to announce our own collection process to feed those in need. Your garden surplus will be going to Channing-Murray Foundation's Bucket Brigade, Sola Gratia Farm's Friday Mobile Market, Eastern Illinois Food Bank, Jubilee Cafe, Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, Lierman Gardens, and more!

We are eager to provide you avid-gardeners a wide-window to be able to drop-off whenever is convenient for your harvesting schedule. Both Channing-Murray and Sola Gratia will have large coolers, outside, for you to drive-up, drop-off, with no person-person contact necessary!

 

How to Donate:

Sola Gratia Farm

Accepting Produce 7 days a week!

Cooler will be on a pallet under trees and to the left (north) of the lane leading into Sola Gratia Farm off of Philo Rd

Cooler will be emptied twice a day (around 8am and 5pm)- to maintain freshness!

Produce should ideally be placed in the cooler between 6a-5p or later in the evening once temperatures have dropped.

** there will be a flag next to the cooler for YOU to put up to indicate you've put produce inside **

 

 

 

Channing-Murray Foundation

Accepting Produce Monday-Friday

Find the cooler under the awning of its front steps on the corner of Oregon & Matthews

Cooler will be emptied twice a day- to maintain freshness!

Produce should ideally be placed between 6a-2pm or later in the evening once temperatures have dropped.

** note ** CMF will not be accepting produce on the weekends
